The refuge Roda di Vaèl is located on the saddle of the Ciampaz, at a high of 2283 meters and in the middle of the Catinaccio. Regarding the refuges is this one of the points of reference of this famous mountain group. At the time, when it was enlarged and renovated, was the dining room dedicated to one of the most capable alpinists of the alpine history of the Dolomites: Marino Stenico. Even nowadays are Marino Stenico's climb routes very selective.
The refuge is in possession of the SAT (Association of the regional Alpini ) and is run by the mountain guide Bruno Deluca, who, on request will accompany you to a group excursion or to one of the exciting metallic fixed rope trails of the “ Roda di Vaèl ” or “ Majarè ” or to one of the many beautiful alpine tours.

We are opened in summer, from June to October.

The refuge offers a restaurant, bar, 50 beds, a large terrace and solarium.
